With a 10% increase in participation over 2011, KARD Recycling, in conjunction with ARMA-Madison Chapter, sponsored its annual Shredding Festival (SHREDFest) for April’s Earth Day event.  Madison’s NBC affiliate, Channel 15, covered the event (see the YouTube clip below)

On April 20 & 21, KARD collected over $1400 in donations for Second Harvest Food Bank, which can provide over 4,250 meals in the Madison community with these funds.  Addiitonally, 21,080 pounds (or 10-1/2 tons) of paper were collected and shredded.

KARD and our partners extend the deepest “thanks” to Madison-area residents for everyone’s concern for the environment and for the users of our local food bank.

KARD has been running two new ads in the Madison market since the beginning of the year.  One emphasizes confidential and nonconfidential shredding services while the other highlights Kard’s industrial recycling programs.
